Limited Edition Fig w/ Bay Spoon Preserves
A 2026 Good Food Award Winner
Adriatic figs from a single 60-year-old tree at Somerthyme Farm, a heritage orchard overlooking Massacre Bay — one of our original stewardship partnerships with the Sommerville family, twelve years strong.
Bay from my garden and from the orchard at the Inn at Ship Bay — Chef Geddes’ kitchen, where I made jam every Sunday and Monday in our first two seasons before we had a place of our own. We still source Bartlett pears and Italian plums from his trees today.
Fresh pressed whole organic California lemon juice. Fair trade organic cane sugar. Cooked down in copper till just right. No pectin.
This one shines with charcuterie — slip a spoon over prosciutto — and with the softest, creamiest cheeses you can find. Triple cremes like La Tur, Delice de Bourgogne, St André. But truthfully, it goes with almost anything.
Ingredients: figs, organic cane sugar, organic lemon juice, fresh bay leaves
Handmade on Orcas Island in just 6 copper pots; 7.75oz
