Shrub Pairings

 

Our Shrubs are tailormade for easy and inspired entertaining – for one or for many. A splash into sparkling water with a muddle of herbs or a cinnamon stick make a refreshing and simple nonalcoholic spritzer – and topped with a jigger of your favorite spirit, you’ve got a top notch home bar. Try drizzling them with EVOO and salt and pepper on fish, meat, and vegetables prior to roasting. They also make fantastic vinaigrettes.

ISLAND PLUM SHRUB

with sparkling water (soda), Tequila, Gin, or Vodka

 

LEMON LAVENDER SHRUB

Soda & squeeze of lemon, Campagne, Bourbon, or Gin

 

ISLAND PEAR SHRUB

Ginger beer, Brandy, Whiskey, or Gin

 

RUBY SPICED APPLE SHRUB

Apple cider, Bourbon, Rum, or Whiskey

 

QUINCE SHRUB

Soda & squeeze of lime, Prosecco, Vodka, or Gin

 

chile lime & TOMATO SHRUB

Soda & rosemary sprig, Bourbon, or Vodka

 

PEACH SHRUB

Iced tea, Bourbon, Whiskey, or Vodka

 

RHUBARB SHRUB

Soda & sprig of mint, Vodka, Gin, or Pét-Nat

 

 

Cocktail Formula for 2

 

1-2 ounce shrub/ 2-3 ounces spirit/ 1-2 dashes bitters/ shake with ice/ strain or serve on the rocks/ top with nonalcoholic pairing to taste/ add a slice of fruit or herb to garnish/ mix & match/ cheers!

 

 

Shrubs in the Kitchen

 

Drizzle on vegetables, fish or meat with EVOO, salt & pepper and roast

 

Make a quick vinaigrette with 1 part shrub/1 part vinegar/3 parts oil/minced shallot/salt & pepper

 

Drizzle on ice cream or make an ice cream shrub soda float
