A Good Food Awards Finalist in 2024

If you ever hoped we’d make a marmalade, this one is for you. The Reine Claude Greengage Plum is one of the most highly sought-after preserving plums in the world, and we’ve been lucky to make friends with a handful of old sea-view trees on Orcas, picked by hand by our friend Thomas Pullano.

The plums are naturally quite sweet, with rich flesh and tannic notes in the skins, so we leaned into our seasonal need for unctuous and bittersweet and paired them with tart and bitter grapefruit (inspired by an amazing Italian grapefruit marmalade), with thick peels of toothsome zest.

Greengage & Grapefruit is back for 2026, and was a Good Food Award finalist in 2024. Deliciously tart, it’s perfect with toast and pairs nicely on a cheese plate with goat cheese, rounding out the citrus notes in that magical way that has you coming back for more, over and over again.

Ingredients: Greengage plums, organic fair trade cane sugar, certified organic grapefruit
