Limited Edition Farmette Peach Spoon Preserves

We're circling back to where it all started, 13 years ago on five Orcas Island farmette acres, where among other fruit trees, two peach trees flanked the garden I first planted seeds in. It was the plums that bore fruit first- marking our Shiro Plum with Mint as our first preserve - but the peaches came bountifully on their heels. And so, as we do, and as we did, we made jam. Homegrown peaches are extraordinary. Ripened on the tree and picked by small hands --it's the juice dripping down your chin and all the down to your elbows kind of experience. We've captured that in glass; preserved that deep heat and bounty of summer and simplicity so you can taste it too - and not just my daughter - who eagerly awaits the first peach each year. My kids picked the fruit for you this year- we hope you enjoy.

With our classic French-inspired flair, we’ve adorned these peaches with nothing but as squeeze of hand pressed lemon juice and just the right touch of organic sugar. And, like all our preserves, we never add any pectin, allowing the natural fruit flavors to take center stage. The result is a jam that’s elevated and refined, and the essence of summer peach, unadorned. It's hard not to love her on everything; but simple toast and butter would be our first pick. But any soft and gooey cheese would be our second. Straight by the spoonful, our third. You pick.
